Bradbury Science Museum Association Volunteer

This official non-profit partner of the Bradbury Science Museum provides many opportunities to be more involved with the Bradbury’s programs through work such as researching collections items and giving docent tours of the Bradbury galleries. Without its loyal group of volunteers, the BSMA would not be able to fulfill its mission of enhancing the educational work of the Bradbury Science Museum. Learn more about the BSMA and about how you can become an official volunteer.

Special Event Volunteer

Would you like to help us spread the word about the world of science, technology, engineering, and math, but are not able to make a long-term commitment with us? We still need you! There are many opportunities to volunteer at one of our special events. Let us know what you are interested in by emailing bsm-edu@lanl.gov and we’ll try to find the perfect fit for you.

Request a Volunteer

Through the Scientist Ambassador Academy, the Bradbury is building a corps of Scientist Ambassadors who are trained to be really great at conversations with learners of all ages, about topics that they are passionate about. Have you always wanted to talk with an actual scientist or engineer and ask them questions about how things work on the atomic scale, or how a nuclear reaction happens, or how computers work? These volunteers are the ones to call on. Learn more about the Scientist Ambassador Academy and how you can request a Scientist Ambassador for your group.
