Welcome to Los Alamos National Laboratory!

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, New Hire Orientation is being held remotely.

What You Should Know About Orientation:

  • The week before New Hire Orientation (Wednesday afternoon or Thursday), the new employee and manager will receive an email with new hire paperwork and instructions. Please take time to read these instructions carefully! The instructions will include current guidance for badging, CRYPTOcards, Benefits, General Employee Training (GET), Initial Computer Briefing, drug testing and other required trainings.
  • After the email is sent out, a New Hire Team Representative will call the employee to go over the new hire instructions.
  • A teleconference will be held on the employees’ start date, primarily to assist with the I-9 form (the details are provided within the new hire Welcome Letter).

If you or your employee does not receive an email and phone call please send an email to: newhires@lanl.gov
