Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, New Hire Orientation is being held remotely.

What You Should Know About Orientation:

  1. The week before New Hire Orientation (Wednesday afternoon or Thursday), the new employee, manager, and COS will receive an email with new hire paperwork and instructions. Please take time to read these instructions carefully! The instructions will include current guidance for badging, CRYPTOcards, Z tokens and UPIV/PIV cards.
  2. Guidance will also be provided on various required trainings including General Employee Training (GET), Initial Computer Briefing, drug testing and other required trainings.
  3. A teleconference will be held on the employees’ start date, primarily to assist with the I-9 form (the details are provided within the new hire Welcome Letter). Please pay close attention to the details regarding your I9 forms and the Authorized Representative.

If you or your employee does not receive an email, or you have other questions regarding orientation, please send an email to: newhires@lanl.gov.

If after receiving your Welcome Letter; and prior to New Hire Orientation; you have questions please contact your designated New Hire Team Member for assistance.
