The Radiation Protection & Shielding Division (RPSD) of the American Nuclear Society (ANS), in cooperation with the ANS New Mexico Trinity Section, is sponsoring the 12th Biennial RPSD Topical Meeting (RPSD 2002) in Santa Fe, NM, April 14-18, 2002. The meeting is cosponsored by the Health Physics Society (HPS), L'Organization de cooperation et de developpment/L'Agence pour l'energie nucleaire (OECD/AEN), and the Radiation Shielding Information Computational Center (RSICC). In addition to a stimulating technical program, workshops and tours (technical and social) are planned as part of the overall program. More information on the meeting is available at our website www.lanl.gov/RPSD2002/. The meeting will be held at the historic La Fonda Hotel, located on the Plaza in the heart of historic Santa Fe. We expect more than 200 attendees at this important conference, representing a wide range of the Radiation Protection and Shielding community, e.g., industry, national labs, universities, international sector, etc. To date, 215 papers have been accepted for presentation. An important component of this meeting will be exhibitor/sponsorship opportunities. Booths will offer companies the opportunity to display products and services of use to the nuclear community, and more specifically, in the area of radiation protection and shielding. A limited number of booth spaces will be available, and we invite you to consider reserving one of these spaces. The attached form gives details of the booth spaces, as well as other opportunities for sponsorship. The booths will be located in the meeting registration area, thereby providing maximum exposure to the meeting attendees. Set-up of
exhibits can begin Sunday morning April 14, 2002, and all exhibits must
be disassembled by Wednesday evening April 17, 2002. Fees for exhibitors/sponsors
must be paid at least one month prior to the conference. The exhibitors/sponsors
registration includes tickets to the Sunday opening reception, luncheon
on Monday, and the Tuesday banquet. If you are interested in being an exhibitor/sponsor, or would like further information, please contact Tom Hirons at 505.667.2211, hirons_thomas_j@lanl.gov, or Dave Court at 505-665-5057, davec@lanl.gov. We look forward to seeing you in Santa Fe in April 2002. Exhibitors: Applied Physics Division, Los Alamos National Laboratory Off-Site Source Recovery Project (OSR) U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission
