The EcoRisk Database is a modeling tool that helps scientists evaluate impacts on LANL's ecology.
Assessing our impact to the environment
The EcoRisk Database is a modeling tool developed by LANL to evaluate impacts on the ecology at LANL. Data collected from surveys of habitat, species, and virtually all other areas of applied ecology help us address ecological risk and incorporate ecological planning in all activities.
Ecological screening levels
Ecological screening levels are media- and receptor-specific values that may be used to screen environmental data.
Air (pore gas), soil, sediment, and water ecological screening levels are calculated for receptors in various functional feeding guilds, such as carnivores, herbivores, and insectivores.
