Furniture reuse program benefits schools and tribes

A year-long pilot project launched by the Laboratory has provided a way to give chairs, desks and other supplies a second life, to benefit New Mexico schools and tribes.

Research shows that students who take part in internships are more likely to finish their degrees, and end up with better results. But internships also help students get a better sense of what they would ultimately like to do when they get into the world of work.
