GRANT WRITING TIPS

You might be excited to apply for a grant, but don’t be too ambitious. Reviewers may be wary of applicants who plan to accomplish more than their budgets allow. Rather than under-deliver, limit your proposal to less, with decisively attainable goals.

Another benefit of a shorter application is that it can be more easily scanned by reviewers. Good proposals are easy to understand. Be concise, and your grant will likely be viewed as comprehensible and fundable.
