Local schools design posters for Earth Day

In celebration of Earth Day on April 22, 2017, the Lab’s Pollution Prevention Program and the Community Partnerships Office co-sponsored a poster contest in Northern New Mexico public schools.

Students from kindergarten through sixth grade designed posters showcasing this year’s theme of recycling, conserving energy, and improving air quality.

WINNERS

First Place: Marcus, San Felipe Day School, San Felipe Pueblo, NM (3rd Grade)

Second Place: Arisa, Pojoaque Schools Sixth Grade Academy, Pojoaque, NM  (6th Grade)

Third Place: Kason, Taos Day School, Taos, NM (1st Grade)
